1. High Cliff State Park

Hike the breathtaking limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment that run through High Cliff. Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Winnebago on the popular Red Bird Trail.

2. Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

A minor league affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Timber Rattlers are known for award-winning theme nights including Princess Night and TV Sitcom Night. Mark your calendars for June 22-24 when the Timber Rattlers transform into the Udder Tuggers, a nod to their home in the dairy state.

Imaginations run wild at one of the best children’s museums in the state. From flying jets to working in the doll hospital, there are 2 floors full of engaging exhibits and play spaces to keep kiddos entertained for hours.

4. Mile of Music

Mile of Music is a 4-day, all-original music festival spanning a one-mile stretch of downtown Appleton. Nearly all of the 700 performances are free to attend and take place anywhere from beer gardens to the local college campus grounds. Mile 10 will take place Aug 3-6.

5. Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass

BMMOG is a free and family-friendly glass art museum and studio. View the world’s largest known collection of glass paperweights on display and try your own hand at making glass art in one of their many studio classes.
