Dakota Johnson never disappoints when it comes to her red carpet style, but even her more laid-back outfits end up blowing us away — like the 70s-esque knit dress she wore recently at the 50th Telluride Film Festival.
The Persuasion actress attended the annual Colorado film festival for the premiere of her latest movie Daddio, which she stars in alongside Sean Penn and Daisy Ridley, in a cream crochet knit Chloé maxi dress with bell sleeves over a white form-fitting underlayer. She paired the outfit with short black boots, a black over-the-shoulder leather Gucci handbag and a simple pendant necklace. Her hair was down in loose beachy waves with simple makeup that she finished with a dark pink lip.
Fans of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy actress couldn’t stop themselves from gushing over her style when photos of the boho chic look finally hit social media on September 1.
“She is the queen of style!!!!!🌟,” a person wrote on one Instagram post. “High style, subtle tenderness, gorgeous Dakota ❤️❤️🔥🔥,” another wrote on the same post. 💕💕GORGEOUS DAKOTA 💕💕💕,” someone else commented on a different post. “WOW, she is all kinds of beautiful. Love her,” a different person said another.
The blue-eyed brunette’s newest project is a drama set in the backseat of a New York City taxi where a woman (Dakota) spends her ride from JFK airport in deep discussion with her cab driver (Sean) about the important relationships in their lives.
