Tuesday, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah posted on Instagram pictures of the Henna held for Ms. Rajwa Khaled Al-Saif ahead of the royal wedding.
Her Majesty wrote: “No celebration would be complete without our Jordanian family. Celebrating our beautiful Rajwa!”
Monday, Her Majesty held a henna party for Miss Rajwa Al-Saif.
Approximately 600 women attended the event, which was held at Zahran Palace in Amman, including a number of princesses from the royal family.
According to CNN Arabic, it was an open-air event and the decoration included dried golden wheat ears, sparkling lamps and the aroma of Arabic coffee.
After the arrival of Her Majesty and members of the royal family, a traditional Zaffa was held for Miss Rajwa.
A traditional song was performed by the Jordanian singer Nidaa Sharara, which was specially written for the occasion.
During the dinner party, Her Majesty welcomed her guests and delivered a heartfelt speech.
The wedding will be held on June 1, 2023.
Notably, a Henna party also known as a Mehndi party, is a cultural celebration held before a wedding or other significant occasions in many South Asian, North African, and Middle Eastern communities.
